I am not sure what to think. The attorney already did the search and says he thinks it would be worthwhile to go ahead and begin the process of filing for an application. He also told me about an idea he had and he suggests he write up the application with his idea included.

I was just wondering if this is something patent attorneys normally do, and if so why? If he adds an idea to my application and I accept it do I have to pay him for the use of his idea?
